Flooded 992 GT3

I didn't think it would get this high. I figured at 50k you could easily part it out and make a few bucks. At 100k it's going to be tough. And if it's going to be a track car, you still need if not all, most of the electronics to make this thing even go down the road!
There is a bank of them under the carpet on the rear shelf.
Getting the authorization to buy new ones may be pretty hard tho.

This is the listing at Auto Bid Master with that info.

Perhaps the guess that this car goes overseas is a good bet.

Autobidmaster is purely a broker to allow non-license holders to bid on Copart (with a fee of course). They have zero interaction with the cars and pull all of their info from Copart, I wouldnt trust a thing said on anything other than Copart's website. But strong guess this ends up a) in a different country, or b) parts. But based on the bid suspect it will soon be leaving the US.

About 20 years ago I got hit by a drunk driver in a horrendous accident. My A6 was demolished, literally shredded, entire body accordioned and ripped open. Total loss and then some. About nine months later out of the blue I get a call from a body shop in Chicago…’hey do you happen to have the key to that Audi?’…

There are so many youtube Channels which rebuild cars like this, $126K for a car that gets a lot of attention is not too bad, since it is currently a popular model and has a story behind it, they can get a ton of views on a series of videos for a rebuild, you'd be amazed at what can be done by some of these guys. Some videos are sponsored, and sponsors can send cash or parts, so these people can afford to pay a bit more for a car. The VinWiki guys are actively looking for unique flood cars, and I am sure there are lot of youtubers thinking the same thing. Some of these guys actually have sponsorships with websites like Autotempest and Copart themselves as well, so there is opportunity to get back a lot of what they spent with sponsored videos from copart. Tavarish is one of the better known ones, and is on the homepage of Autotempest.

How many people are ready for a new motor that isn’t covered under warranty??
No one buying this car wants the attention of YouTube. This car is getting exported and sold to some unsuspecting buyer.
