Wing Delete 992 GT3 (with video)
Hello all, I hope this post finds you well!
I have recently acquired a paint-to-sample GT3 in Black Olive from Toronto (PCNT) and have been enjoying the car. Having owned other GT cars in the lineup, the new suspension geometry definitely increased the handling of the car. As some of you may know, I have done a wing delete in the past on my Racing Yellow GT2 RS. Here I am now, doing another wing delete on this new 992 GT3. Please see below for some photos of the car with the wing, and without the wing. I will also be attaching a link below to a video I made showing how the wing delete process was done. The empty gaps where the wing struts once stood have been replaced with covered produced by Salter Aero, a Canadian-based company specializing in parts for Porsches.
I am aware that downforce figures and balance of the car will be altered as this winged GT3 version was designed with the wing in mind, whereas the GT3 Touring has Active Aero which auto deploys to keep the car stable. However, this wingless configuration is only meant for street use. The wing will be installed again for any track activities.
Thank you for reading!
Disclaimer: This post about wing delete is not an instructional manual or recommendation, please follow manufacturers' guidelines to avoid any potential injury to the car or any persons. The user of the vehicle should understand any risk associated with the wing removal. I hold no responsibility if anything is damaged during the install/uninstall process. Thank you.

Thank you for posting that video. Car looks really good.
Here is the link to the wing delete kit:
https://salteraero.com/products/992-...22-911-gt3-992
At $499, that is a much better deal than the first ones that came out costing $1495.
