Same thing was true with the came in a regular Cayman S the temperature gage would read 192 regardless but the GT four would be accurate giving you whatever the real water temperature was. I remember reading and some technical update from Porsche that the gauge was designed to read 192 anywhere is from like 180 to 230. Why they even put a Gauge in is beyond me they could’ve just put a light. Saying cold normal and hot. Nice to have an accurate gauge again. Carl

The oil level and fuel level (for extended tank) gauges are far better than previous GT3 also…

Coolant and oil temp were accurate on 991.2 GT3 too. However on my TTS, when she's warmed up, coolant temp stays locked in at 194 deg F. Oil temp is accurate though.

In the 992 gt3, at least mine, in the track mode display (which I have set for sport mode) there are two temperature gauges for oil, and they say different temperatures - at least when the car is warming up. They must be placed in different areas or something. Of course this probably doesn't matter when the entire engine is hot and you're already driving, but I never know if it's actually at 150 like the one on the left says or the one on the right says it's 10° cooler for a few minutes... either way it's really nice to know the temperature for once.

Are you sure the one on the left isn’t coolant temp (it is for me)?

Oh that could be, I thought the icons look similar though. Maybe one of you can confirm on your display.

Coolant on the left
Oil on the right
icons do look very similar

Easy way to remember oil temperature and oil pressure are together
