Great colour choice and build PTS. Appreciate you had put a lot of thought into what you wanted so glad it turned out for you. Looking forward to a few more pics and some of the detail.

In all of my other sports cars either the long bonnet or the fenders in yiur field of vision is part of what sets such a car aside from a normal car. I don't get that view in the 992. The front just disappears and the fenders aren't very noticeable.
That's interesting. I drove the 911R and Touring back to back, both have LWBs and the 992 feels just as low to me. The buckets feel like they are sitting on the floor board on both cars when lowered all the way (my preferred setting). Your observation seems specific to the Sofas in the 992

The 992 gt3 feels as small driving as my previous gt3.2. I luv the buckets or 4 ways. I will never spec those 18 ways again. Best to try the seats out before you check the box

Not really. In the beginning of the week, I drove the 992 Touring, 991.2 GT3 and 991.2 GTS back to back. The 992 Touring and 991.2 GTS both have 18 way sofas, and I'm definitely lower in the GTS. When swapping between the 991.2 GT3 and 991.2 GTS of which the former has LWB's and the latter the 18 ways, it's very similar when the 18 ways are all the way down. In other words, the seating height between two 991.2's with the different seats, does not feel very different to me, but the 992 does. I have driven a regular 992 GT3 with LWB's and it had a similar taller felling like my 992 with the 18 ways. It just feels like a bigger car to me. It's the same when getting in and out. Roofline of the 991 is lower and I drop further down than in do in the 992.

Just my observations.

Massive Congratulations!

I went with Alcantara Steering wheel and P1 Inserts.

I found it very annoying how Porsche would not allow the inserts for Tourings in the USA.

My brother has an Aussie Edition GT3 Touring and the inserts that Porsche did for those was spectacular!

Gorgeous, huge congrats! Welcome to the Barney 911 GT3 club! LOL

Went in that direction myself with the 991.2 PtS GT3 as I have a sweat spot for Porsche purples It's one of those shades that serves as a good representation of 'the power of understatement'. Nothing in-our-face, but classic and elegant, yet distinctive.

Enjoy in good health for years to come!

Gorgeous. I ordered mine with the same interior except went with the extended EM leather and LWBs. Every time I see the chalk EM interior with the 18 ways I question my seat choice.

Big risk for me but so happy I went for it. Which shade of purple did you go for on the 991.2?

Thank you. I'm very pleased with the 18 ways. For me it is a street car, not a track car, so the 18 ways are perfect. And even with a bit of track work, they grab you well enough. Do you have door rattles? I have, in both doors.

I don’t have my Touring yet, but my TTS has a door rattle on the driver’s side.
