The car feels a lot taller. Even with the 18 way sofas in my 991.2, you sit quite a bit lower, and visually the front protrudes more in the field of vision. This view is to me part of the fun and I miss that. In all of my other sports cars either the long bonnet or the fenders in yiur field of vision is part of what sets such a car aside from a normal car. I don't get that view in the 992. The front just disappears and the fenders aren't very noticeable.

That's interesting. I drove the 911R and Touring back to back, both have LWBs and the 992 feels just as low to me. The buckets feel like they are sitting on the floor board on both cars when lowered all the way (my preferred setting). Your observation seems specific to the Sofas in the 992
Just my observations.

Massive Congratulations!
I went with Alcantara Steering wheel and P1 Inserts.
I found it very annoying how Porsche would not allow the inserts for Tourings in the USA.
My brother has an Aussie Edition GT3 Touring and the inserts that Porsche did for those was spectacular!

Gorgeous, huge congrats! Welcome to the Barney 911 GT3 club! LOL
Went in that direction myself with the 991.2 PtS GT3 as I have a sweat spot for Porsche purples It's one of those shades that serves as a good representation of 'the power of understatement'. Nothing in-our-face, but classic and elegant, yet distinctive.
Enjoy in good health for years to come!

Thanks Mooty. Going to take the DD route as you did

Thank you. I'm very pleased with the 18 ways. For me it is a street car, not a track car, so the 18 ways are perfect. And even with a bit of track work, they grab you well enough. Do you have door rattles? I have, in both doors.

I don’t have my Touring yet, but my TTS has a door rattle on the driver’s side.
