I'm not certain how long ClearGuard Alpha has been on the market but does anyone have any experience with how durable it is over time? The self-healing properties seem clearly superior to Xpel and Suntek and the film certainly appears very transparent. Does anyone know how well it holds up to UV exposure and general wear over time?

ClearGuard Nano, which was the version at that time in 2010 and has undergone several gens like all of the major manufacturers and all have only gotten better with their tech. ClearGuard Alpha was upgraded in 2020.

We started using their products (Prestige Film Technologies: www.prestige-films.com) in 2010 and was the 1st company to produce a matte ppf. Here is reference to us posting this Satin Guard project on a 2010 Turbo:

Rarely do our customers need to replace the product, but when they do it is usually because of an accident or minor mishap like scraping the front bumper. FYI, we used to be an Xpel Dealer before moving over to Prestige (from 2005 - 2011ish). Both manufacturers make good products, but we work on some very expensive hypercars / supercars, so clarity of the product is very important. Some people will not notice the gloss / clarity of the finish, but we certainly do....so it can be subjective and down to each person's acuity to these details.

I will take Riviera Blue or Mexico Blue for $200.
Is that your new Lambo Huracan STO in the back on the right?
So glad you had the patience to get it specc'd the way that you wanted.
You might be able to support a Formula 1 team with all of that carbon fiber my friend!
