I'd be worried about hyperactive techs at the dealership with hemorrhoids. Better give that seat a smell real quick.

Do you have pictures of the odometer after the car was unloaded from truck
that should tell you if the car was driven at factory or at dealer .
I have multiple Porsche cars ordered and the highest delivery mileage was 54 miles on 981 Spyder . I had a pic of odometer as car was unloaded before PPi and it was 54 so it was not the dealer . Talked to Porsche and the explanation I got was : random cars get picked off the line for extensive testing and the mileage will be around 50 -60 miles
all my other cars were less than 10

The Porsche Connect app showed that it had been operated for 11:33 hours with an average speed of 7mph. I ended up being okay with it and figured that I was just that much closer to completing the break-in mileage and hitting 9k RPM heaven.
I intend to follow AP’s break-in procedure rigorously. I hope our cars were tested with respect and within the break-in parameter. I guess I’ll find out when its due for first service to run a DME report.

Not sure if you specced full bucket seats or not but how was the condition of your driver’s seat like after being operated for 11.5hrs? Here’s mine….

BlackGT3, if you want the Race-Tex and leather to look better, get some Sonax Alcantara Cleaner and a good leather conditioner (I use Zaino Z10). My Race-Tex was pristine (just needs vacuuming every week or so) but I treated all of my leather with the Zaino. When doing the leather, mask off the Race-Tex with painter's tape. Detail the carbon fiber with your favorite quick detailer spray.

I have the LWB seats and they were perfect. The car looked like it had the standard 10-15 miles and not 70. I'd recommend a set of EdGuard bolster covers if you want to keep those seats pristine.

Of course you could ask for your money back. Just think of the joy you provided for that Tech!

Thanks for the pointer. I will order both products to try out!

Yep Ed’s protectors are best in the business I got them as early present to myself just before Christmas.

My first GT3 had 50-some miles on it. I assumed someone at the dealer went for a ride, but maybe it got extra testing. There were no issues so I never worried about it. Get some miles on the beast and enjoy. You’ll forget all about it.

My 2014 991.` (PDK obviously) had 67 miles when I picked it up...I'm pretty sure it was taken for a few joy rides....I let it go at first, but then it started bugging me....and then I just forgot about it....

I wouldn’t worry about it. If the car was in good shape and no weird tire wear then it’s probably nothing to worry about. If there are paint chips or tire wear to the very outside of the tread then I would ask some questions.

Imagine on your wedding day you found out your fiancée slept with some random guy at her bachelorette party.
