Thanks @tstafford

Luckily, the delay turned out to be a bit of a blessing as it allowed me to finesse my build some more.

Just placed my order with Kim @P1Designs for a set of Sport-Tex ‘white/gray/black’ inserts. It’s starting to feel real now!

how many days before production the order gets its VIN?

how many days the production takes? or in other words: how many days go by from getting the VIN until the final car is ready?

I have been trying to understand the timeline as well. My CP8 date is 3/25 on TYD but my SA gave me my VIN on 3/4 which was the ‘scheduled for production’ milestone.

TYD also matches PVMS FWIW

Hoping the car is produced in-time to make it onboard the Glovis Champion.

Would be pretty remarkable to only be at Emden port for 5-7 days. Most are in the 20-50 day range. Some do get lucky though. I've been at port since 02/26, missed 3 ships to Jax since being there, hoping to be on vessel by 03/25 which will be a month at port

I was lucky enough to only sit at Emden port for 3 business days before the ship left the harbor with the car.

Same here. Was only at Emden for two or three days. Felt very lucky.

Yeah it seems like ports are still pretty backlogged. So I wouldn’t be surprised if my car sat for a month+. Fingers crossed production completes next week & the car can make it onto the 3/28 Glovis Champion for Benicia.

Looks like I got sort of lucky. I have had two cars at Emden since 2/28 - one got on the Glovis Comet yesterday, the other still appears to be in port.....

So much for that ‘memo’ from Porsche. My car finished production today & shows ‘ready for transport’

Nice. Congrats!

You went ahead of me given my actual date of "Scheduled for Production" was 2/28 (a few days earlier than yours). My CP8 was supposed to be 3/25, but now got pushed later to 4/8. Oh well, what's another two weeks after waiting for almost a year.
