so, it is not true that they build GT3 for 1 model year
Recall though that there was a "stop sale" on the 991.1 GT3. From memory it was about 6 months, I think, from March 14 to Sept 14. When production restarted the cars were 2015 (F). Perhaps without the stop, there would have been 2 model years E and F.

Well there are the 3 for the GT4 possibly 4. There is a ‘19, ‘20,’21 and I think the two I mentioned that are coming in are possibly ‘22s.

Then again I don’t believe there is a 718.1 and 718.2.

I just looked up 991. Apparently production ended Feb of 2015. So that would be beginning of ‘23 which many on here predicted.

They took two model years off between the 991.1 and 991.2? I don’t see a ‘16 or ‘17. Absolute fools.

Reading an interesting forum. Everyone claims it’s a marketing tactic the first year and there should be a boatload of allocations in ‘22.

I’ve mentioned it before I was told they call the dealerships to ask how long the list is if you say 15 they’ll allocate you 5. If you say 4 they’ll allocate you 2. The dealers told me they do it on purpose.

Further reading during the 991s a bunch of PTS orders got cancelled because it didn’t line up with the cutoff deadline.

If that’s not pure scum I don’t know what is. Stop pledging allegiance to this brand please.

You're on RL, asking forum members to give up on Porsche simply because you couldn't score an allocation?

If you don't want to pay to play, your best bet is to wait until the end of 992.1, runs...

Where in any of my posts trying to give as much info on the situation did you get I’m telling people to “give up”.

Stop viewing them as some super-class brand like an Hermes. Not even close.

Im on lists with $50K ADMs and 20K ADMs. Where is that not willing to pay to play? Reading can be an asset.

You're on list @ $50k adm?... may be you need to pay more to have one now?

LoL@ super-class brand... I'm in Canada, pay MSRP and will be getting a .2 GT3

Deleting the info on this post as to not add to the hysteria and lessen everyone’s chances. Hopefully RealityGT got a dose of reality that he is now scheduled to wait years for an electric GT3 😭.

A naturally aspirated engine in 2025 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Again this video was commissioned by Porsche. The reviewers had access to everyone at GT.

It was released 3 weeks ago. I took it as drumming up hysteria for what maybe will be a big upcoming production year.

Or, it was shot months ago and released just now.

Have fun with that. The rest of us will try until they tell us otherwise. It’s weird I’ve seen people speculating on here. It’s been out there for awhile.

I'll wait for the official launch information.

Well, you better up your ADM to whatever the market demands or you may be SOL.

Yea I’m not going over $50K. I am not going to be the running joke that we just hosed this idiot of 6 figures for a non-limited production car. I’ll just pass at that point.

Getting a 992.2 right now is nothing. The lists are tiny. Anyone can get on them. If you put your name on a list 4 years in advance for GT3 and you don’t get it jfc.

23.7 gallons is extended. Dunno what standard is. I’m not planning on endurance racing, so why would I want this? Thanks for the question and info!

It's a really nice option that the vast majority of cars have. Honestly it's sort of weird that it's not standard. I don't do endurance racing either but it's damn nice to have the big tank for DD usage. My 991.2 GT3 gets close to 500 miles of highway range.

16.9 gallon is standard. Extended tank means less visits to the gas station.

^ get the extended tank those who like to save wt and get 16 gal tank will be EXTREMELY sorry.
my 997RS4.0 did not have a choice it's 16.x gal
when freinds and I go out driving... anytime I see a gas station, I need to top off. b/c we were out in the boonies once, and I had full tank but still ran dry.....
they had to drive out and get me 5 gallon back....
luckily we were in groups. if you are alone, in fun roads, no cell signal... you are ROYALLY FKD. if I can I would have 50 gallon tank.
