The 992GT4RS will cause pricing problems for the 992GT3. It's $15,000 less MSRP, more road presence, similar performance, similar sound and much more unique in styling. Between the two I would take the GT4. Also, From what I have seen of the 992 GT cars announced, I'm loving my 991.2GT3RS even more.

I love the GT4RS but it's doubtful that it will have any effect on 992 GT3 prices. There's still way too much demand for either car, and ultimately the GT3 is a good bit faster, while weighing a similar weight, and offers a manual transmission option. I certainly would be happy with either but given the choice I'd get the GT3.

How much does the Weissach pack save on weight for the GT4RS?

Even with larger dims. PDK GT3 is 64lbs lighter & MT GT3 is over 100lbs lighter.

🤔

GT4RS curb weight

GT3 curb weight

Porsche Chicago has a Chalk GT3 Touring spec they posted on IG. No other info and when I requested the build sheet, the SA asked where I was located.

What a mystery that a smaller RS car weighs
more with essentially the same engine.

I guess AP wasn’t kidding when he said he wanted to keep the GT3 on pole position

Six seconds faster on a 14 mile track driven by professionals. Amateurs will hardly see the difference on shorter tracks.

With all that said, the GT3 is a better car but if you factor in performance/value the GT4RS is the better buy.

This guy loves the car but apparently needs to buy a house.
The idea to buy a second house only came to him when he realized his MSRP car could sell to some dumbsh$t and make a quick $100k. With the money thrown at these I would do the same if had a MSRP allocation.

See, I don't think so. Its easier to drive a GT3 1-10/10ths its more linear. A Cayman roughly matches it 1-8/10ths....but 9-10/10ths......is much much much different.

Now granted....99% of people aren't going to drive the car above 6/10ths.....so....*shrugs*.

Not when you factor in that 80%+ of 4RS buyers are going to be paying $100k+ ADMs. There will be far more MSRP 992 GT3s than MSRP GT4RS
