Local dealer just sent me a note indicating I could have a car at MSRP if I voted no on the poll.

Yup. A few years ago I was looking for a Golf R and there were five new ones left in the entire U.S. Dealer in SoCal wanted $15k over (on a $40,000 car!) and wouldn't budge. I lol'd.

It will go away eventually. It has to. Even it doesnt go away, we'll have another economic downturn due to excessive inflation/even further supply chain problems and that economic downturn will take corrective action on this stupid sports car market as well.

Auto manufacturers can NOT stay profitable with the amount of cars they are able to sell. Full stop. They are right now eating away from their profit/tapping on their cash. This will last only so much. Eventually they'll have to lay people off. Not good for anyone.

Not sure how this is gouging it’s not food or gas that you need to live a normal life. People complaining they can’t get a 200k, clearly why people think Porsche owners are all rich jerks. Easy choice feel cheated don’t buy the car, or support the dealer. There’s so many brands out there, and why beg for a car if I had to pay ADM I would just buy something else I’ve done it many times no big deal not pissed.
