I bet the 4.0 cost a fortune
They are a dealership so they are in business to make money, but they have always offered me very fair trade in prices on the cars that I sold them back. Also, all the GT cars were @ MSRP and Cayennes/Macans at a discount plus free shipping so they have been very fair on pricing and terms. I've also done a few cars with their clear bra and financed a few cars through them even though I could have paid cash so I'm sure that helped as well. I paid $400k for my 4.0L. Trust me, I'm very far from being a big whale over there as they have a clients that buy 5-10+ cars a year from them so I'm a smaller fish in the pond hence why I didn't get an allocation until this later allocation release because they took care of their big whales first.

I'm an upper middle class working stiff, I trade in cars back to them because I don't have the garage space and spare cash to keep acquiring more cars so I rotate through GT cars as newer models become available and I drive a lot for work a lot so I go through Cayennes/Macans every 12-18 months because I don't want to go out of warranty.

I'm thinking Brewster Green over British Racing Green with black caliper PCCBs. I think a classy green color will go better a a Touring than a winged GT3 which I'd go with another blue.[/QUOTE]

This would be a wonderful spec. Go for it.

Congrats! That’s fabulous. I’ve been noticing many very nice PTS shades of green. Big fan of the black calipers on a Touring. It will be very nice. Chrome trim would also give it a very “classic” look….

Here's the build that I sent over to the dealer....http://www.porsche-code.com/PNK58U41

Saving on the ADM allowed me to bump up the options like PCCB, PTS, and LED lights.

I think any of the greens would be great. Black calipers good call. On the interior- do green stitching. Epic! Very happy for you man. Persistence and patience pays off.

All good things come to those willing to wait.

I agree, a nice dark green stitching to match the exterior would be awesome. Completely tie the car together making it unique in a very appealing way.

Walters Porsche has always treated me fairly and they have gone above and beyond.

Another good dealer in CA is Porsche Fresno owned by CJ Wilson.

Both great stores !

Since that time I have bought and sold an additional 8 cars with them (including Macan and Cayenne daily drivers) and they have been an absolute pleasure to work with. Every time I buy a GT car I fly out and treat them (and myself) to a delicious Texas BBQ lunch and say thank you and will plan on doing that when the Touring arrives. It's unfortunate that there are less and less dealers that value relationships but I'm very fortunate that I work with one that still values them.
With all the business you've given / are giving them it seems they'd be buying you lunch!! (at a minimum).... Congrats on the car!

Good for you! I'm lucky enough to have a great relationship as well. Of course, I trade a hell of a lot of cars back to them and let them make money. I also buy a lot of parts and service. haha. I'm not an arrogant person to deal with either which I think helps. hahaha. Picking mine up Thursday. Wing though. Don't like neutered version.

My dealer also owns the Audi dealership across the street and I think my Audi GT4 car has become a whole new profit center.

Thank you sir, it was hard to stay patient but I realized they had to take care of the big whales first before they got to the small fish like me and came through like I thought they would. I'm glad that I have a relationship with them and will continue to do business with them by buying and selling them back both my GT and non-GT cars, but they aren't getting the 4.0L back. haha

Agreed on Fresno for sure, Walters wasn't interested in my business back in 2015-2016 so I went East. haha
