This would only be true if Porsche did a complete 180 on its long history of pricing special editions.

as I have mentioned elsewhere, its
Turbo 3.8 (non S) 550 hp
RWD (unique to 3.8 Turbo platform)
Manual only
No intake vents on rear fenders
Very, very limited numbers
And...a price that is 20-25% more than a Turbo S!

I'll be the first to say it. That car is an ugly parts bin special. I'm sure it'll be nicer in reality; but so far, nah

Nice. Too bad you still can't see the front.

Looks like a Porsche turbo sport package front end... You could see it very clearly and all the Ring photos

I guess the most recent similar car would be 997 GT2 RS...

I think this sounds cool.

What has resale been like on previous Sports Classics?

I am tempted to try and get one and enjoy it before the 50th Anniversary RS, but if I will have to stomach a large amount of depreciation I won't bother.

Thanks

I think prices dipped initially but nearly doubled original price now with cars offered in Europe on Mobile.de

What do you know about the 50th Anniversary RS?

In the past, the SC has appreciated (if not driven much). But that was largely due to extremely low production volume (plaque 1 of 250 worldwide)

Swap the motor for the GT3 one and that would be some car esp with the rear seats.

Good to know thanks.

Not a huge amount from my cleaning lady. Possibly stick shift and duck tail with a juicy NA motor.
