My thoughts:
My target was for a clean & classy spec. I felt the car's natural presence and stance were enough to pop - there was no need for a bright paint color. Agate Grey keeps the focus on the car, not the paint color.
Silver wheels because they pop and reflect light while moving. Black wheels looks too "military" in my opinion. Black instead of yellow PCCB to keep with the "classy" spec.
I'm still in the break-in phase so I'm taking it easy and keeping it below 6500rpm. So far I've owned a 991.2 GT3 & 991.2 GT3 RS and this very much feels like the 991.2 GT3 RS.
I've taken some freeway exits & entrances pretty hard and I'm amazed at the front end turn in. Loads of grip and positive feel.
The noise is a tiny bit less "raw" sounding, more refined - which suits this cars evolution nature.
So far - I'm loving it.
I also own a 992 Turbo. The GT3 feels lighter on its feet... more agile and quick. Comfort is suprisingly similar with the slight nod to the Turbo.
I really can appreciate owning both as a 911 nut. The Turbo has an "effortless" feel to its power delivery - both in its high torque delivered low down along with its muted sound. Take-overs are drama less. A true "highway dominator" with a luxury take on the 911.
The GT3 is more dramatic, zingy, sharp, and Go-Kart like. The sound really adds to the feeling of speed vs. the Turbo's torque contributing to it.
Right now I'm feeling like the luckiest guy on earth along with all the other 992 GT3 owners.
Very thoughtful & tasteful spec
Any comments on the throttle response w/ITBs vs your prior GT3s? What are the notably perceived differences between Normal/Sport/Track modes so far?
Any pics of the interior?
Congrats
Car looks great, I like Agate. I think this car looks great in every color. The silver wheels are classic and understated, which is nice. Enjoy the car.
