Default Need input on installing roll cage and harness

Hi everyone. Will be ordering a BBI cage and 6 point Shroth harness.
Question. Should I just get Porsche to insrall, or can a novice with good hands do it themselves?

Novice is a loos term, You need an E12 socket Torx socket to take the seats out (disconnect battery first so you don't set off the airbag fault). Yellow electrical connection has black pull tab to release under front of seat. After that, it's pretty straight forward. Cover everything that you may bump into taking the seat out or putting the bar in to avoid scratches. Seats come out pretty easy with one person, base first. Roll bar is big enough that it goes easier with two people.

Removing the seats is best done with 2 people. Otherwise the precision cutting of the carpet is the hardest part IMO.

Np. Note that you do need a few special tools (the e-torx for the seats and a large triple-square for the main hoop base bolts).
