As of post #80 there are;

47 992 GT3's posted to this thread.
23 have carbon roof
7 have carbon mirrors

Interesting reflection of take up rate on carbon bits.

That’s too bad. I know there were a lot of people choosing not to get carbon roof because of how it lined up or whatever, but after having it, I don’t think it’s an issue at all. Gives the car a different overall look. I don’t think it suits the touring though, but that’s just me.

First gt3 in my country )) have to say r8 does not handle any worse than gt3. Maybe even better

I don't like the lack of exposed carbon wing, hood elements, trim, etc. I know this will essentially all be RS options, but I would have spent a lot more if they gave me more than a couple of frankenstein options. We'll see if they sell me an RS next year(1.5 yrs whenever allocations happen).

See your point, but Im also thinking this touring is a little more racer then previous gen with the hood vents etc. So im going CF on roof and mirrors. Purely personal preference.

Chalk/Neodyme is a great combo. Neodyme wheels are by far the nicest looking, as a standalone wheel. Whether it goes with the color you pick is subjective.
