Default Rusty dimples on steel rotors?

Any thoughts on how to remove rust from the new dimple design for the new steel rotors?

If you heat them up it won't be as noticeable. You'll get enough brake pad transfer and dust to mostly obscure the rust in the perforation holes and the wear dimples. That's the nature of cast iron.

Yeah, brake dust will cover it up, but when cleaned up it will be a bunch of orange dots.

Rusty Dimples--that was the name of my high school baseball coach!

Most likely they will be obscured by dark brake dust. If not, then AP J-hook rotors from Essex will be the answer!

And the J-hooks rust as well. But quickly not noticeable after getting hot and coated in dust!

As soon as they’re cleaned up, you’ll wash your car, put your brakes away wet and there will be rust again in the morning. Wash, rinse, repeat.
