Vineyard tours - suggestions
After finishing at SPA, I’m heading to Reims - will be touring Veuve for two events. Considering stops in the Loire Valley and Boudreaux.
Any suggestions for other vineyard tours?

I've done two and doing a third in Oct. It took 4 weeks exactly for both of my EDs to be delivered from drop off to pick up at dealership. This was East coast. It's about 6 weeks (perfectly) for West coast. Porsche advertises a much longer travel time however.

You can drop it off at either of the two factories for free. You get 16 days of registration and insurance paid for as well. You can drop it off at about 15 places in Europe for a charge. (about 750-1500 euros or something like that). You can also pay for more insurance time.

Attached is the list of drop offs effective Aug 4th. Prices are included. Numerous locations have recently been dropped due to Covid Delta variant which is indicated by the cross outs. Normally London is available as a drop off but this has recently been dropped due to the pandemic.

Are you a UK citizen (would you be buying from a UK dealer)? If so, there would be different rules in place for factory delivery (if offered in that market). The one for North American customers is unusually good and is a remnant of the Post-War period where the German government subsidizes the program (and that's still the reason for the good terms on offer).

Very early stages right now!!!

Gotcha - hopefully, the Covid situation will improve before then. If dropping in UK is still not possible then, I'm sure you know it's very inexpensive to fly from Frankfurt or Stuttgart to London if you have to leave the car at the German factory.

Yes - the alternative is that I could have a family member in the UK who already has some interesting cars join me in Europe and then we go in one car back to the UK. As I said, super early stages!!

UK is not EU anymore so i would say the car cant be exported from UK to USA, they would have to export it to UK with a DUA and from UK to USA with another one. Exporter would have to issue invoices for each export ... i can see a lot of reasons to this not being possible

All exports are from Germany. You are able to drop the car off at different cities in Europe (including the UK - except that is not available due to Covid) and they ship the car to PAG. PAG then ships the car using normal procedures to your dealer.

i may be wrong or not, but its worth to ask. Since 1st january a lot of things (customs related) changed in UK for exporting and importing
