US Delivery Dates
#63
I have a question out to PCNA about the purchase date of the car, because 9/17 seems like a long way off for me as my car is already in Baltimore. Unless it sits in port for literally a month or more, it's going to be at my dealer earlier than 9/17 so I figured I'd ask them and see what they say. Seems like mixed messages from them/dealers according to these forums. CARB matters everywhere or just California? Probably everywhere...

Wishing you all the best for an early delivery.
I was in a similar situation in the past and my car sat in port for a couple months waiting for CARB approval—it seems like CARB (sometimes New York) is usually the last piece required for 50-state emission certification and the cars are not sold prior to 50-state clearance. We just all drove ourselves crazy while Porsche kept offloading cars in port; I even have port-cam photos.
My understanding is that the announced on-sale date is Sept 17 and I would not be surprised if PCNA holds cars in port until the official sale date. Again, my experience is limited, and I am hoping it is a smoother process for you.

Themis Leader looks like the only option at the moment. Mine has been at Emden for 2 weeks. Hopefully we both catch it

What is odd is my start of production didn’t change-just the complete date.
