what a great surprise right? I wonder if they have all the approvals they need or whatever was setting the 9/17 was accelerated. I hope this isn’t a “track your dream” error…

My guess is that the delivery date is tied in "track your dream" to the boat delivery and not actually reflective of the regulatory approvals needed. Hope I'm wrong....

I have a question out to PCNA about the purchase date of the car, because 9/17 seems like a long way off for me as my car is already in Baltimore. Unless it sits in port for literally a month or more, it's going to be at my dealer earlier than 9/17 so I figured I'd ask them and see what they say. Seems like mixed messages from them/dealers according to these forums. CARB matters everywhere or just California? Probably everywhere...

9/17 the onsale date. PCNA told me it was related to CARB but CARB is not adopted by most states. Only Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont and of course CA. Maybe they don't want to release the car for sale in only 40 of 50 states so PCNA just puts a broad stake in the ground on a single date.

Wishing you all the best for an early delivery.

I was in a similar situation in the past and my car sat in port for a couple months waiting for CARB approval—it seems like CARB (sometimes New York) is usually the last piece required for 50-state emission certification and the cars are not sold prior to 50-state clearance. We just all drove ourselves crazy while Porsche kept offloading cars in port; I even have port-cam photos.

My understanding is that the announced on-sale date is Sept 17 and I would not be surprised if PCNA holds cars in port until the official sale date. Again, my experience is limited, and I am hoping it is a smoother process for you.

Just got the email that my manual finished production. Will be delivered to California. Just to counter the debate around manuals being delayed for production.

When did it go into production?

Was today the estimate date for completion?

Themis Leader looks like the only option at the moment. Mine has been at Emden for 2 weeks. Hopefully we both catch it

Well mine went into production on 7/23 with a completed date of today 7/30 and just changed to 9/10 as the completion date. Bummer.

Can you share your build?

I must have picked an option that is causing a delay.

Mine got delayed two months after I updated my order. I always had a 6MT. I added shark blue trim wheels, SB belts, SB exterior color, leather with SB stitching and ED. After that was updated, my build moved 2 months.

Ah, I thought yours was white. I have the same SB color options with the MT.

What is odd is my start of production didn’t change-just the complete date.
