Spring/Damper rates between Touring and Winged GT3
Some press stories have reported that the spring/damper rates of the Touring are different to the winged GT3. Well, according to Frank Walliser, they are the same.

What a way to ruin endless discussions about how Touring is subtly but definitively tuned better for road driving and opposed to the winged version. Although, I'm sure some will still feel the difference

Indeed, some would have you believe the giant swan neck rear wing is completely useless for stability. To Hell with aero balance!! They want their Cars & Coffee !

Here was AP's comment on GT3 and Touring suspension.
And here was AP's reply to my ducktail question and his warning about removing the wing. But don't tell other RListers as apparently they know better than AP.

I will be the first to admit the wingless
wing car is pure car ****. However, .2 touring is already a donut machine without the wing, even with the active spoiler. Ask Chris Harris. Also if you think about it, for the manual, 70 mph gets you to 7500 rpm in 2nd gear. I would imagine we are buying the car for the engine and the sweet 9000 rpm redline music. But getting these to redline you are hauling *****. No question. I wouldnt want to keep it under 7500 rpm at the risk of becoming an expensive tree house, just so i can look cool. Im gonna agree with AP on this one.
