Looks like for those of us who think the GT3 is too stiff, EVO says buy a M5 CS. Touring did not fair well in their COTY.

Kudos to the Bimmer, but that's not fair to say the Touring didn't fare well. I thought all the comments were overwhelmingly positive, no?

I ya ain't first ur last

They generally loved it, I was surprised the M5 took it, I think their own surprise introduced a bit of bias.

‘did not fair well’…hyperbole. M5 CS - 4 seat turbo auto luxo barge, no thanks. STO - double price auto that looks like it’s trying way too hard, no thanks. I will take a nice taut MT Touring thanks.

Not enough people talk about the fact that stock suspension settings a Dj components are just a starting point. A Gt3 can be made to handle and feel differently, it's not a static unchangeable setup, just a factory one. If the car is too stiff for the owner's, it can be changed!

Yes, and changing the coilovers should be easier and less expensive than ever before with the new front suspension (no longer need to buy a whole front strut with wheel carrier and all goes with a strut suspension - just need a spring and damper per corner).

That is an awesome video, thanks for sharing. Like Chris, I drive the snot out of my car - with a terrier on board. I've got 16,000+ on mine and I love that he sees the wear and tear, both interior and exterior, as a badge of usage. He'd be happy to know that my driver's side bucket is showing some wear and tear as well.

It will be interesting to see if he keeps is "banana" once the 992 arrives. He clearly has bonded with the car. I love his line about how he is surprised that Porsche warranties a car that revs to 9,000. And for those following the 18-ways vs LWB thread, well, now we know where Chris Harris stands on the debate.

Yes I have a feeling most will love that video. What does get lost in the whole 991 vs 992 debate is that no matter which side of the line you sit, the other is very likely to be your second favorite car! (as it is for me).

Such a thoughtful take, and one that can be expanded to almost all of the GT3 debates: 991 vs 992, wing vs touring, manual vs PDK, sofa vs LWBS, etc.
