Default Leather options on Touring

Do you guys think the Classic Design Package or the ugly red-white Exclusive Design Package will be avaliable on the touring model? I think it will be cool if they add it, also it might be reasonable since the touring comes with full leather interior.

Today, there are Heritage & Exclusive interiors on offer in the 992 both around $16k. I don't see why they wouldn't offer the same in a GT car.

I see why. GT cars are street legal race cars. They never come with all the foo foo interior cosmetic options common to regular Porsche’s.

look at the history of GT cars. Have they ever offered such interior options on a 996/997/991 GT3 or RS?

Yeah but leather color is no different to paint color, no?
And Ferrari/Lambo has offered something other than black since forever.
I think they are missing a trick here.
We'll see in a few months.

Ferrari and Lambo are largely for poseurs, not real driving/track enthusiasts so of course they offer every leather option under the sun.

Wow okay.. I didn't know that.

So that means we have to do CXX options even if we just want it to have the same interior color as a C2S.....

I understand that GT cars and Carreras are from different factories so they might have different assembly line. But if I only ask for an interior that is identical to a Carrera and no LWB maybe the price won't be that high? cuz most custom tailoring options cost 30k to 50k depends on what you want..

You could get full leather w/o CXX. It just wasn’t standard - like all 991. Mine has full leather, extended stitching package and some other stuff (no CXX) that all totaled out to about $8K.

Porsche just calls it CX, and the other let you buy what your heart desires(:

Yes. Leather dash. Sort of hard to tell from that picture. Most noticeable right behind the wheel.

Really?? I have and have had several Ferraris. I consider myself (and my other owner friends) real driving enthusiasts.
