It Is surely clear for all that they won't sell anymore
sufficient 2020/21 Taycan and hybrid models
to offset the GT3 emissions debit
Only real alternative to delete is to pay the emissions huge fees
including the cost within the 992 GT3 msrp price (300k?)
At this point i assume one or the other

You make a good point. I know that Porsche rushed the Taycan to market to meet government rules or regulations. The cars had to be at dealers before the end of 2019. I don't know how well the Taycan is selling? My dealer says the Taycan is having teething problems ... unexpected battery problems, window glass breaking etc.

How exactly do you know that? Where are your numbers?
Do you know actual taycan sales number and the exact emissions numbers in taycan sales necessary to offset GT car production?. Otherwise, lets lay off the fearmongering for now.
Taycan was selling well before COVID.

Afaik every taycan allocation available has been sold. At least the turbo and tts.
given this is a once in a century black swan event, I think it’s just as likely governments wave penalties for a year. The whole industry is about to get wrecked on sales, and given the plunge in ice car sales and global emissions for the year, it’s not like being hard assed over these regulations for a single year will make much difference.
anyway, no, Porsche won’t cancel the sales of the 992.1 models it’s already paid to develop. Stream lining the mid decade models that haven’t been funded yet is possible.

Government waving penalties to let GT3 production?
Ford and family car makers have mild hybrid that cost little to nothing more (2k)
Porsche to offset the penalties has to sell cars that cost way more and most important China and WW won t buy for a while expensive cars like hybrid Porsche go figure the GTs

GT3 is a high margin vehicle with demand even when car market is weak. They will sell them as a priority, imo...

well they may cut back on allocations to match what they think weakened demand will be, but they've already spent the money to develop it. These products represent years of development time. That's a sunk cost. There's no point in not selling it.

992 GT3 is coming. As others have said, it’s already baked and out of the oven and just waiting to be plated for the world to see.
It’s just a matter of when, not if

Bad optics to launch the car any time soon; Goodwood is unlikely to happen (on schedule). Car week - who knows? Le Mans is now in September - maybe then.

GT3 may not be high margin compared to other 992, but it is compared to Macan, Boxster, Cayman, and some Cayenne. The difference is that nobody will want to buy most other Porsches than GT models if the economy continues a to suffer.

I don’t necessarily think demand for the 992 GT3 will be resilient in the face of eroded asset values; I won’t turn this into a value thread, which I have grown to detest, however.
