Default What loaner car did you get......

I had a 718 Cayman S on Friday. Fully loaded.

Oh wow - absolutely loved it! Growling engine, raspy crackly exhaust. Fast revving, fast car.

First time I've driven the new generation and I'm very pleasantly surprised.

I've had Boxsters, Cayennes, Macans, and a Cayman S. The worst was a Panamera, OMG that car is just huge.

Had a Panamera Hybrid once. Called the dealer and begged him to take it back. Thought I was driving my uncles Lincoln. Had 718, Cayene, Macan, and a 991 Turbo.

Base 2016 Cayenne. It felt a little squishy and could use more power, but it wasn't bad. Since I don't need a 'real' SUV, and my wife loves her Macan, we'll be sticking with the 'little Cayenne'.

Doesn't surprise me. I think I read somewhere that Porsche put most of the TDIs involved in the emissions scandal into loaner duty.

My last loaner was a (very dirty) base Cayenne gasser. Dealer thought it would be "fun for me to have something different." Unfortunately, I had it for 2 weeks, and I didn't care for it at all. My C2S shares the garage with 2008 VW Touareg V10 TDI, which is much nicer, faster, and more fun than the new Cayenne loaner I had.

Always a cayenne diesel. My dealer also has macans but I've (unfortunately) never been assigned one. They don't have sports cars in the loaner fleet unfortunately.

I've had only Cayenne Platinum Editions. Nice seats but a lackluster car at best. That V6 leaves a lot to be desired.

IMO, those cars are for people who want the right badge (and perhaps, options) but end up with the wrong car. No offense to anyone on here with such a car. I'm sure they make sense under the right set of circumstances. -_-

Base Cayennes, Diesel Cayennes, Base Panny, Boxster S (managed to get a weekend out of it), Cayenne e-hybrid (awful science project), base Mecan. Seems that about half the cars have glitter in the trunk???
