I've said this in other post about maintenance.
Please be educated before heading in for service.
There's a published list that has been posted before that goes by miles and age so stick to it.
Get to know your service adviser and your service techs.
The 1st time when I walked in and met a new service adviser with his little i-pad saying here's the recommended services I chuckled and said I'm here for warranty work only..... I've done the rest.
BTW I never have seen that little i-pad since.

Yep, confirming that's a rip. The local dealer here does everything on your Basic list for around $300 except for the unneeded fuel system cleaner (assuming you use a Top Tier fuel) and the pollen filter. The BG stuff is not a Porsche-recommended item and with a good synthetic oil is probably even counter-productive.
You can see how to do the replacement for both air cabin filters here, not that big a deal:
.
I don't know if I'll replace the inside one all that often since the outer one catches most of the big stuff.
Totally absurd... I'd be pretty irked too.

Edit: I just got a response back from the service manager. WOW WOW WOW! prices have been reduced. The 3 packages are now $611, $521, and $425. $425 for brake flush and oil/filter change is more like it

Are you SURE that those prices include the brake flush??? It isn't listed in those packages. Or maybe I got gouged with my brake fluid change, which was $240 by itself. Yeah I know I can do it myself for less than $30 bucks, but I just got lazy and splurged on it this time.
If it is included then you have yourself a good deal!

One suggestion is to deal with the long-term place you buy your Porsches. They treat me well. I bought six Porsches. For some reason they treat me well.
Second is to bring in your own oil, NAPA has a tremendous sale every quarter on 0/40 and 5W/50 Mobil 1. My bill is rarely over $270.
During my oil change last Monday, I took them quotes for rear 350's from Tire Mart and a trusted local tire guy for he same tires. Surprisingly, my dealer quoted the best with labor by far. Please remember you are keeping your dealer in business. That is important to all of us.

Dealers are all the same. My poor old mother got clipped for $450 by her Ford dealer for an oil change "Package" on her C-Max that had 6,000 miles on it. These people should be arrested for this behavior.
As for saving money, I completely agree that the lowest cost and hassle approach is to bring your own Mobil 1. Wally world sells the 5 quart jugs for $25 everyday and less when there are sales. This sure beats the $8 to $10 per quart that a dealer will charge.
