Default Windshield Settlement???

I'm away from home on bizz trip. I was told I received mail from Porsche about something regarding the windshield. Anyone know anything about this? I've not been following this. Perhaps I've missed a post. Sorry for not searching. Thanks.

I just got this in the mail yesterday. They will refund up to $175 of a polarized sunglasses purchase you can prove you made while you had the car if you still have it or up to $75 if you sold it already.

Ray Ban stock just shot up

I have a glare on my Macan with dark colored dash and silver interior trim.

Same goes with my 991.

Porsche is notorious for glare.

What? Seriously? Hummmmm. I've purchased two custom sun clips in the past 12 months at about $130 each. Maybe I'm getting some beer money back. What's the rationale behind this? Thanks.

This only apply to the "beige dash" owners.

Looks like old news.

Pays $$ to be beige

Here's the full list if you're curious: Luxor Beige, Sand Beige, Cognag, Platinum Grey, and Natural Brown.

I got it as well. My old 991S was platinum grey, my current 991S has a black interior. I had no problem with glare with either of them...

But as Porsche buyers we're legally too dumb to figure out that a lighter dashboard can sometimes make a slight reflection on the windshield.
