It's a 991.1, made between 2012.5 through 2016. Can't really see the exhaust, but it's a base Carrera and those look like standard ovalized (single) exhaust tips.

Andrew, google is your friend. How could we possibly know if it's a stock exhaust?

I just want to if the exhaust is the same for the 2012 to 2015 time frame because it sounded amazing. I know someone at the porsche dealership told me that the new ones have been silenced.

The car probably had the "sport exhaust" option which does sound amazing! Cost is an extra $2,500 for the soundtrack.

You have a base exhaust as found on a 991.1 Carrera, the Carrera S base exhaust as found on any of the S models (this is different than the base 3.4 exhaust) and then the optional Porsche Sport Exhaust which could be equipped to any model and I believe came standard on the GTS.

So which one are saying this vehicle has? And from your opinion which exhaust sounds the best?

I cannot say with any real confidence what makes that car sound better than normal based on the photos provided. It certainly looks as though it has the 911 Carrera base exhaust and not the optional sport exhaust judging by the oval tips. The sport exhaust would have had quad outlets.

It is possible (though unlikely that it wouldn't have been mentioned) that someone replaced the manifolds.

Perhaps you just really like the sound?!

My favorite is the Soul Performance Products Valved Exhaust, though I may be biased.

Yeah, i took this porsche out a few times in a luxury auto rental place and i must saying i have never heard a better sounding vehicle. specially when you hit the gas and it catches the rev and it sounds amazing.. i have another pic of the back of the car showing the both exhausts.

Considering the car came from a rental facility, it is likely that it has seen pretty long and sustained hard driving. It is possible that some of the muffler packing and or catalytic converters have broken down over time allowing more sound to get through.
