Do you PPF your front lip?
I'm getting suntek installed over entire front end. and the lower front lip on my GTS is pretty scraped up from normal use. Installer recommended fixing it so they could wrap it. To buff and spot paint is around $200 but I don't want to pay for the work just to damage it again on driveways. Especially since the PPF would enhance the eye sore if it peeled up.
Anyone out there have issues with PPF coming up after scraping the front end on driveways etc? I'm weighing my options.
Thanks.

I would if I had a painted lip. Mine is an unpainted SPASM lip that I can replace for less than the cost of PPF. Also - the texture to unpainted lips would not respond well to PPF nor are they as fragile as a painted lip like your avatar.

PPF will not stand up to a 3400 pound car hitting concrete driveway or parking curb that does not move. Something will give. The ppf will tear and damage will occur in those cases. Once in a while it's just a grazing and the PPF will not sheer and the paint will be fine.
We layer a 20mil clear film over the PPF on many lowers and it helps but when it comes to a car hitting an immovable hard object, film will give until the vehicle stops forcing itself against the immovable object.

I had my lip painted and it is also PPFd. Occasionally I have scraped the bottom on my driveway when not being careful, but it only hurts the underside of it. I think its well worth it.

The clear film on my lip is the only thing holding it together..... it's cracked in 2 places. With the clear film you can hardly tell.

Cheers guys. I'm going to PPF it without the paint correction. 98% of the front lip is cherry with only a few scrapes showing. The bottom is scraped up pretty good.
