Porsche claims to be working with the officals, and claims steering sensor data are used to improve driver experience and not for emissions testing.

Maybe goes by the code name PSP (Power Steering Plus).

Since Porsche is being accused together with Audi, maybe those models that share Audi engines? Some Cayennes (besides the diesel) come to mind

they dont need to use steering inputs, the cars have 2/3-axis accelerometers in them ... if the car is accelerating and there is no input from the accelerometer
then the car is stationary ... and thus on a testbed... QED
