Default PPF pricing advice

I just picked up a CPO'd 991.2 with pre-existing 3M film over the front bumper, hood, mirrors and front fenders. An experienced dealer in my area wants $3000 for 3m over the doors, rear quarter panel, rear bumper, rockers and roof. Is this reasonable?

Fair-ish. I paid $1800 for front bumper, hood, mirrors and front fenders. I paid $400 I think for the rear bumper. I believe I was quoted $4500 for the whole car so $4500-1800= $2700.

Mine was $2200 to do the full front clip in xpel ultimate, fully custom with all seams rolled under.

$200 of that was to remove the existing half bra first.

If you're the ambitious type ( and reasonably handy), remember you can always do it yourself too. The 3M PPF can be bought online in bulk or pre-cut. Won't look quite as good as a top pro installer, but will be thousands less. Depends on what you want.

Fairish but don't get done at the dealer is kind of a cardinal rule on PPF.

In my area, getting the front clip done with a pre cut xpel kit is around 1800 bucks. A custom hand cut kit is about 2500 from a top notch installer.

6000 is what I was quoted for all painted surfaces from a top notch installer for a custom kit as well.
