Funny timing on this thread - just yesterday I was explaining to my 9 year old how to properly close the hood to avoid dents, after we put my stuff and his baseball gear inside. Needless to say, I ordered one today as well ...

LexVan .. Need to buy you a cold one someday. I just dropped in a Cargo Liner over the weekend..the hood liner makes total sense. Just bought one. Many thanks for posting that idea.

I use the frunk every week in the summer to take a cooler of food to my summer home. And I am about to load a large suitcase and other stuff into the frunk for a Thanksgiving vacation upstate.
I (slightly but painfully) dented the frunk lid on my old Cayman when something in my overloaded frunk shifted. Lesson learned, I got a Das Schild liner and have made installing a new one the first thing I have done with each successor Porsche. Simple, easy and reliable. Literally takes a minute to install.

I also have the Das Schild Lid Liner standing by for installation once the precious carriage arrives ... inexpensive insurance against me doing something stupid.

For less than $20, you can get a plastic tote with lid at Walmart. It's about 4 inches narrower from right to left than C2 frunk, fits precisely front to back, comes with a removal snap on lid, and is available in black.
If you want it to say "Porsche" on it, send me $200 and I send you a label.

weathertech makes this ( )for 128$ for the RWD 991, but I couldn't find one for the 4S. It's not as deep as the renntech or suncoast products but it looks nice.

Based on your suggestion, I went to The Container Store and found a black plastic container for $12.99 that fits snugly into my Carrera T’s frunk. The one I got is about 16” deep and like the one you got, it’s about 4” narrower than the width of the frunk but fits perfectly back to front which makes for a snug fit. Perfectly happy with the result. Thanks!
