I just installed my lid liner this morning in my 991.2 C4S. I got it from lidliner.com and can confirm the RF14 coupon code works. Here are some before and after pics:

For less than $20, you can get a plastic tote with lid at Walmart. It's about 4 inches narrower from right to left than C2 frunk, fits precisely front to back, comes with a removal snap on lid, and is available in black.

If you want it to say "Porsche" on it, send me $200 and I send you a label.

It's made of the same state of the art structural polymer that you see everywhere around the cowl area of the frunk. Who new Walmart was copying Porsche designed materials?

Why would you need this? Who would put something in the trunk that even came close to the top limit? Or are your roads real bumpy and everything flies around?

Every time I have invested to protect the car I've come out ahead. My CPO warranty just paid for 7 1/2 hours of labor to fix the gas tank pad squeak. My clear bra protected me from a piece of truck tire that hit my hood at 80 miles an hour. I drive my car daily in the summer and often go shopping. It seems like fairly cheap insurance considering the stakes.

Me.

I have used my 991, and almost all my previous Porsches for short and long distance travel, including some serious road trips. And on many of those, I packed the frunk (and trunk on the Boxster) full. While in theory I put any hard things on the bottom, and only soft bags filled with unicorn fluff on top, it only takes one moment of inattention (or help from someone else).

Or I could just write about the time I had a bicycle in the frunk.

All true, but I guess I like to think I am careful. I must admit, I did buy the bottom frunk liner as a precaution after reading here that someone bought fish and spilled it In the trunk!
