Come on guys allow the guy to sell his car without abuse. He's a member.

IMO it's generally bad form to comment on asking price in public posts!

Beautiful color. We saw one parked at Hershey (at the Porsche swap meet) two weekends ago - the owner had just picked it up that morning. My wife actually walked over to look at it closer in person (and she is NOT a car person), the color was so stunning. She (and I) still prefer Sapphire Blue over Miami Blue but wow, no question that it is a gorgeous color in person.

I agree with you, when in the Classifieds, since that's the Rennlist rules. Here, in the discussion forums, it's all fair game. It's the wild west here.

Still poor form. Everyone assesses value differently, and negotiation should occur off line - exception for me would be him trying to gouge over MSRP.

No arguement, here.

But, the OP has received already over 2,200 free views. Price of admission? And a Mod has already posted in here, so it's not going un-notice nor un-moderated.

I'm absolutely the same way with bright colors... I think red, yellow, blue, orange etc are they only way to go. Just not like baby blue or pink.

Miami has a lot of green in it relative to the other jelly bean blues Porsche offers via PTS. If you like more of a blue-green vibe, it's great. If you want more true blue or purple blue, it probably won't appeal.

Re: price, I agree that it's probably overpriced, but that's up to the market. No need to really discuss. 95% of people overprice their cars in their for sale ads.

I'd agree if you're talking the PTS color palette. There are plenty of awesome bright colors in there. In the normal Porsche color offerings, I don't really care for any of the bright ones.

I remember seeing a PDF in the "Porsche Exclusive" thread, listing all (or most) approved PTS colors. Just curious, is there a PDF or guide which matches up the PTS color with a picture or swatch? I'd be willing to help put it together...would be a great resource to have.

Riley has been around the block here....he knows what the scoop is in the 991 forum. If he was a sensitive type he wouda gone to the classified.

My personal opinion...hate the color. Just absolutely only for driving around South Beach.
