Default Spring cleaning

Step #1 - Dial dish soap wash
Step #2 - Clay bar
Step #3 - 3M #3 ultrafine machine polish using a Porter 7424 polisher
Step #4 - two coats of Celeste Dettaglio V2 Carnauba Paste Wax.

The results are a swirl free deep shine. My 911S is 4 years old and these products are amazing for a finish that is as good or better than new.

I also just did a nice Spring cleaning wash of my car. Also 4 years old and zero swirls. I am pretty religious about two bucket washing. Got to try out my new toy - a foam cannon for a nice pre-wash.

Very nice work. Not an easy job.

Why carnauba? Great depth of shine, and easy on, easy off, but you might be better served with a more durable sealant......and then maybe do a carnauba topper.

Again, great job!

Great question. Carnauba wax does not last. My car, although driven hard, only will see sunny days. Calgary is not overly hot or humid, the wax will hold up for two months here. It's so easy to put on/take off that I dont mind waxing the car three times over the nice months.

Sealers are great and getting better all the time. I just feel I dont get the really deep shine. The flake in the Basalt Black just roars with Carnauba.

Yes I do. I couldn't be happier with the set up. Drop me a message if you want more info.
