Oil change time?
I have 6,300 miles on my 2015 Carrera C4S. The oil's been changed three times already due to winter storage, the CPO program, and my desire to change it at 1,000 miles. The last oil change was at approximately 3,500mi.
Today the oil change warning came on at startup. Does this car actually sense the quality of the oil, or is it just a time or mileage based system? Anyone know why it would recommend a change?

The light comes on when your car approaches one year or 10,000 miles. I suspect it has been a year since your service light has been reset. Since you had your oil changed early, perhaps the service reminder was not reset at that time (it would not have been on anyway) and now the car thinks it has been a year since your last oil change.
