Default Graphite "blue?"

Til yesterday i'd never seen one in the flesh. Stop by the dealer there was a GB 911 under the sun,what a deception! There's not an once of blue in that color it look like another boring shade of grey to me. I dont know why Porsche mess with funny colors like that,remember Lime gold? I think you can't go wrong with colors like Guard red or White they are timeless.

You need to see it in the sunlight....it is definitely blue. with metallic too.

Boring?

GT Silver.......classic.
Black......menacing.
Lava Orange.....cool.
Guards Red......please, please look at me.....
Graphite Blue...... understated, and mine.

PTS colors run from absolutely stunning to what the heck we're they thinking???? But to each their own.

As my pop used to say, "Some folks taste is all in their mouth."

Graphite Blue in sun and with Lava Orange.

If I hadn't been approved for PTS, I probably would have selected GB. Going to be regarded as a classic color as soon as they discontinue it, IMO.

Graphite Blue Metallic is appropriately named IMO.

Graphite = Gray
Blue = Blue

I saw this color in person this past weekend and it is definitely gray with a blue undertone. All metallic colors are going to shift depending on the lighting.

My Sapphire Blue Metallic changes from bright blue, to satin blue, to dark blue and even some purple tones depend on the lighting.

I always recommend having a lady friend look at a colors for us gents. Women discern colors much better than us guys

Graphite blue is gorgeous. Only regret with my 991 is that I didn't get it (I got Agate Grey which is nice but isn't the same).

The SA's at my dealership refer to it as Concrete Blue, to which I agree. Porsche could spray urine on a car and call it River Yellow and a bunch of people would still go ga-ga over it. Even more so if they made it a PTS color and charged an extra seven grand for it.

There's a fine line between cool and hideous. Mint, really?
IMHO, GBM looks good under some lighting, but disappointing in others. I came thisclose to ordering it, but my family strongly dissuaded me. I'm curious what nickname your SAs will give to chalk. It's either really stylish or really boring. Leaning toward the former.

Hahaha...one of the funniest and likely true comments I've ever read. You sir win the internet!

Graphite blue looks like shiny gray primer to me in most pictures. Up close and in the sun it is not as bad as you can see the metalflake. My wife said looks like they forgot to paint it.

Oh well to each their own.

I personally like GBM a lot and so does the wife. I'm more of a fan of bright colors on the 911 but if I was going with something a bit darker, I would probably strongly consider GBM. It's very classy but still sporty.

I would just like to see it paired with darker wheels.
