2018 T4 GTS ordered ... !!
Got news from my LPD that the allocation for my 2018 T4 GTS came through.
I had the car "built" several months ago, just waiting to place an order. Finalized the build yesterday and sent it out. It was accepted by Porsche and a tentative delivery date is August 18. Of course this can fluctuate.
I was concerned that with the few allocations available for this car, I would not be able to build one.

T4, LPD ...
You had me google T4 GTS ... I thought they were bringing out a Turbo 4 Cylinder.
I also wondered for sec wgy your Local Police Department would inform you about this.
Too much Trappist last night, anyway ... great car and enjoy the build up to the delivery moment!

Having built & currently own a 16 GTS for almost two years, if (when?) I do again... I would use the lessons from first time around and: http://www.porsche-code.com/PJC8SZR2

Couple things ...
I think I just added a couple things over the last few weeks to the build.
One thing I'm hoping will change is the carbon fiber heated steering wheel in espresso leather. I have the exact espresso / lava orange stitching in my '15 Turbo ... no stitching on the steering wheel. But, according to the Porsche site, I can't get this with what I'm building in the GTS. We're hoping that this will change. I really like the look of the CF wheel. I don't care if there's deviated stitching on it or not.
I can get a black CF heated sport wheel ... dealer said if we can't order one in espresso, and IF I want, he'll get me a black one and exchange it out at his cost. Not sure a BLACK CF wheel would look OK. We'll see if the espresso CF wheel becomes available. Don't know why it was available, and now not.
Also, I have the Bose in my Turbo. Pretty poor rendition of a radio IMO. Maybe it's been upgraded.
Got rid of the 'paragraph' on the car's butt, and will just have Porsche and 911 below that ... all in black.
Of course, the CL Turbo S wheels. Not my style, but think they go with the car.

My dealer contacted me last night. Said the body of my Targa 4 GTS is being built this week.
Delivery is expected to be late August / early September. I was hoping for mid August, but that's all good.

Lava with espresso and lava stitching and white instruments and carbon fiber is absolutely the way to go on a lava orange car. Nicely done!
