Yes one should drive the car. It is a challenging situation to be in to decide to drive a 50M car or not...but then again life is short and one should fully enjoy it.
Infact by doing this - Ferrari probably puts the owner in their ultra vip program to have dibs on any production car that he/she wants.
The video is super thrilling to watch. Always wanted to see a 250 in proper action

That was awesome. What some people don't realize is that many of these ultra rare, ultra valuable old cars have been restored and aren't exactly as they left the factory, particularly the ones with race provenance, which have often been wrecked badly and been rebuilt multiple times. So unless he burns the car to the ground, his only real risk on the track is the cost to repair any damage. It's not like $50 million goes out the window if he crashes the car.
