I love it: why settle for just an oil change when you can change the whole car!

I think you'll find the 991 to be a huge improvement over the 997. I know I did.

I also live in Des Moines and ended up buying a used 2014 911S Cabriolet from Woodhouse in late March. While I was doing the deal I saw your Targa on the showroom floor. They tried to upgrade me to it but I preferred a cabriolet and a little lower price, so lucky for you I did not buy it. It looked brand new. Congratulations.

I would double check with HRE to confirm that they built them. I do not believe they were otherwise I would have sold many of these! haha

Jurrian - the Porsche dealer told me that "The wheels are Fuchs Performance wheels, and they are actually produced private label by HRE" and were purchased from Wheel Enhancement. Maybe the "private label" production is the difference? can you enlighten me if that is the case?

I think that is actually a great looking Porsche but an unusual story. A dealer would spec this car, order it, put aftermarket wheels on it and then only drive it 800 miles? Sounds like its good for you though. Congrats!

Yes, we do Private Label for certain auto manufacturers like the Apollo Arrow and Saleen S7 for example or even our Ringbrothers wheel styles, but we have never produced a Fuchs style wheel.

Looks like the OE-optional 20" Sport Classic Wheel with exclusive option black paint (just like those on my 991) except that the spokes and part of the hub have been stripped and polished.

Jurrian - I am sorry if I was misinformed and passed on the information as such. I have done some additional digging and the wheels certainly came from Wheel Enhancement according to my dealer. I did find this post for these (black) same design wheels based on the additional information I was provided by the dealer right here on Rennlist. Maybe TAG Motorsport that is a sponsor can shed some light to this.
