Are there any more recent endeavours to order these bags in the meantime? Any other competitors I should know about?

Recently got a 2014 Turbo S and am quickly figuring out my luggage situation is less than ideal for the vehicle.

Would like to take more road trips, but it's hard packing things in adequately. Right now I'm reduced to a series of backpacks...

Wow, this is a blast from the past! I am still using mine and they fit perfectly in the car. The smaller one sits on the seat and the larger one on the top of the folded seat. They have held up well and always use them on trips.

Glad to hear that you like them Dan.

I too would be interested in a dedicated set of luggage. Currently make do with duffle bags.

Funny, I missed this thread first time around...and had a similar thought about the rear package shelf, as it's ripe for custom baggage. We've been talking about whether we want to offer something for 991 owners. Curious about a comment early on re: a difference between 991.1 and 991.2 back there?

Yes, I keep that large flat bag pictured above on the back shelf to protect the shelf carpet from sun damage and as a little road noise insulation. I have used it for a suit in the past, but mostly leave it empty. The smaller bags are stacked - smallest bag on the seat, and next size up on the back of the seat after it is folded. It looks good, too.

Did you take your luggage bump stops off the seats for these to fit?

They fit with the bump stops perfectly. The ones I have are black with gray stitching.

Managed to come through pretty OK! Opted for the red stitching since my interior is Red / Black.
