Wow, that looks nice. I'll also be tomorrow to have my pcm serviced. I'll take a look myself in person if you haven't already took the car home. Congrats!
Car is still there. I had a track package wrap put on today, the windows were tinted, I live in Virginia so I stuck with 50% on all windows to be uniform and keep within the laws. The side markers are now clear. I'll go back down in two weeks and pick it up.
I didn't notice much of a difference in sound between the two when I test drove. If I ever feel underwhelmed in sound I'll do something about it.
Good choice! I used to race for Mercedes and Chevy teams back in my day, so may be I am spoiled by the sound of real race engines. I skipped on PSE too since it sounded like a Honda Civic exhaust to me (fake and artificially resonated throaty note through a resonator pipe).
Another thing I noticed are the "pap pap pap" downshift pops in SC Sport mode. Real turbo boost dumps have a certain violence in their sound, while Porsche pops sound like some German engineer went "Let's dump precisely 1.5 ml of fuel in exhaust drei times at precisely 300 millisecond intervals to impress ze suburban dentists".
I raise my glass to real race Engineers at Porsche who decided to skip fake pops in Sport+ mode, which is targeted for real track use.
Can't seem to find much information about them, but ordered it anyway because they looked so nice. I bet you made that truck driver a bit nervous unloading your new baby.
Sport-Tex is just a trademarked name for Microfiber, albeit different weave. Do you prefer your seat made from the towels you use to wipe your car?
