Before I start pulling up weather stripping in search of it wanted to check here

Do all 991.1 have attachment points for the porsche roof racks or was it an additional option from the factory?

Yes.

Standard features:

"Preparation for roof transport"

Oops, that is for 991.2

Key Left

Point ones all have the preparation mounts included. Just lift the rubber strips and voila you are in business.

yup all non GT 911's have rack prep under the rubber seals.
