Or will these 991.2 turbo powered cars revert back to stock-like numbers by relearning fuel air mix parameters over time just like 991.1 TT/S cars do?
I've read that the ECU is so adaptive that any initial gains revert back to stock after a couple weeks of driving.

I loved my Europipe on my Turbo., so I went to their website to see if they made one for the 991.2. They don't, but they state for the 991.1/.2 Turbo, that any initial gain is lost after a couple of weeks.
http://www.europipe.be/exhausts.html

I assume that the 991.2 would have a similar ECU...

For those to lazy to click your link.. From the Europipe Web Site:

"The ECU of the new Turbo is adaptive so all the initial gains of our sport exhaust are gone after a couple weeks of driving. From then on the maximum output at full throttle is the same as stock. What remains is the added hp and tq at low rpm and midrange as well as the sharper throttle response."

I have a brand new Europipe sitting in a box waiting on the arrival of my 991.2 TTS Cab! I bought it purely for the sound, so any +hp/tq will be icing on the cake.

Lots of great options, an aftermarket system really transforms the sound of the 991.

On the ECU comment, this is unlikely the case when it comes to an exhaust system. The ECU could detect more boost but it's probably not going to cut boost pressure from the lack of back pressure downstream. I have not seen any evidence of this but haven't dyno'd a vehicle every few weeks to see. Not saying it's impossible, but I've heard claims without any data or evidence.

Had 3 Europipe exhausts on previous 3 TT's. Loved them all. Have a Kline Iconel on my 4S and found new love.

Not the best video but the sound is surprisingly accurate. (if you have a good headset don't listen to it on your phone please!)

Fabspeed 991.2 headers, sport cats with PSE and CF tips in Sport Plus mode(thus no pops and crackles and the turbos are always spooling) idle and a few blips:

I've owned at least 13 turbo cars over the last 18 years and never heard a turbo exhaust sound this good before. Once I get the car back from Automobilia Auto Salon (they are using it as the demo car for their PCA event) and the weather stops being awful here in CT I'll get some better videos in car and outside with both Sport and Sport Plus to contrast the difference.

*For those not familiar with the 991.2 only sport mode has the pops and crackles on decel/throttle lift but doesn't have the antilag (prespool of the turbos) like Sport Plus does. This behavior is very different from the 991.1

I have to agree with F6M on this one. We have had cars here for weeks doing development work on various exhaust systems and have never seen any evidence of the ECU reverting performance back to stock performance. Nor have I ever had any complaints from clients of mine weeks after installing their exhaust system of them losing the performance they gained after installation.
