I'm back in a 911 again
Previously I had a 997.2 then circumstances changed and I had to get a bigger car, so I got a 2017 Macan GTS. But during my short stint in the Macan I still yearned to get back into a 911. So after searching and some weird cosmic alignment, this white Carrera S showed up.
I had been looking at it a month or so ago, but it disappeared and marked as SOLD. Then just by happenstance I was looking through the ads and there it was again. Apparently the buyer showed up and the trade he brought was not worthwhile for the dealer to take so the deal fell through. This was all the sign that I needed.
It's a 2013 Carrera S, Espresso interior, Sport Chrono and most importantly NO SUNROOF. This is going to be a great build for me as I have it already built in my head.

Its very nice, congrats!!!
I had the same thing happen, sort of. I won't go completely into the whole story, but I was also in a Macan GTS and it just simply wasn't a 911... nothing wrong with it, just needed a 911. Funny enough I was searching for a no sunroof, manual, sports optioned car (PSE, SC, Seats etc) and happened to find one in my city before it even hit the market.
Its awesome isn't it. Enjoy it!!!

thanks everyone. I got to drive it into work today and my goodness what a difference in the way it drove from my 997...and on another level compared to the Macan GTS (as it should). The PO of this car ordered it like a driver's car as it doesn't have all the bells and whistles. No heated seat (not really needed in socal), no folding mirrors (although i probably would have sprung for that), the seats are the 5 way? sport seats so it feels really good sitting in it. Of course no sunroof. He did splurge and get the Burmester sound system which is absolutely mental, I think there's a bit TOO much base for the size of that cabin.
Sunroof is definitely something that I rarely used in all my cars, so not having it is a nice thing. I can't wait to get this on the track.
