Default Strange PDK "rattle"

My "perfect" 991.1 has 1 quirk. Sometimes when I come to a stop, like a stoplight or something, I hear a sort of rattle or noise emanating from the PDK shifter for a few seconds. It's nothing loose I can find easily. I mentioned it to the service tech at my Porsche dlr, and he didn't think it something to worry about unless it happens more frequently. It happens rarely, nothing I could show to him. I cannot tell anything wrong with the PDK or engine operation. It only happens now & then at idle. I'm trying to see if it might be associated with the start/stop, but can't tell so far. Any thoughts? The car is a 2014 with 15k miles.

Take the car in for service---if they find something---good it gets fixed...if they don't and it fails right after your warranty expires---you have good documentation to get claim covered in the future---document everything

Cheers

Figured out what it is. It has to do with the brake pedal micro-switch that controls the transmission interlock. Sometimes in idle it rapidly "chatters." I can make it stop by pressing and releasing the brake pedal. It hasn't yet occurred while at the dealer, of course.

Might now be solved. While at the dlr, the SA finally noticed what I'd been talking about. After investigation, the switch at the brake pedal was not mounted properly. They "clicked it" into place and we'll see if it occurs again.
