I want to see what my build will look like with black exhaust tips. For some reason, Porsche doesn't want to take another $1000 from me and black PSE tips are not an option (yet) so I plan to get them coated aftermarket.
I was on the fence getting PSE because I like the look of the Quads better than PSE tips (we all have different opinions here). I am so particular about my Porsches that I flew to Atlanta to drive and listen to the 991.2 PSE cars at PEC Atlanta. The new 911 sound sucked next to the GT4 and 981 Spyder on the track from an observer's point of view but sounded ok in the cabin with the symposers in over drive. I considered giving up the $3000 PSE option for a $1000 black quad tip option and save $2000. But I think I need to have PSE just for the gurgles. Just don't like the chrome.....and I am not getting the GTS either so can't take advantage of that look.

No prob.
When I was building out a C4s before my current Turbo, I was against PSE for purely aesthetic reasons, but I was torn b/c I didn't want to lose out on the option for better sound. Black tips are a nice way to resolve the problem. Crazy expensive for two tips, but I'd probably do the same.
