Can someone please help me decipher these service intervals as reported by my car? It's a 2014 C2 with about 28k miles on the clock. Here's what it says:

Service interval 1
Service on:
11100 mi
7/2017

Service interval 2
Interm. Service in:
6200 mi
8/2017

Service interval 3
Oil change in
3500 mi
5/2017

Why is there a major and intermediate service being shown as roughly 5000 miles apart but only 1 month apart in terms of time? Which one do you go by? I bought the the car CPO with about 22K miles at the time.

Dealers don't always set those things up right in the computer. Mine is always totally wrong. The mfr recommended service for you is an oil change at 30k (not more than 1 year after your 20k occurred) and then a major service at 40k (again after not more than 1 year from the 30k).

So the interm service listed is the 30K service and its nothing more than an oil change? Why then is the oil service broken out separately on the display with a different time and mileage interval?

The 10k/annual is mostly just an oil change, I think they change a cabin filter or something too. Then 20k/biannual includes maybe fuel and intake filters or something like that and the 40k/4 year is the full service with plugs and everything. Each service includes progressively more inspections too and certain ones have extras, for example 60k includes a belt change. What exactly is included in each one is in the back of the manual.
