They look....unfinished (to me)...like something is missing.
Can you get them painted black with polished spokes like the 50th Anniversary edition? I think this looks WAY better as the spokes POP out of the wheel and draws attention to the the 3D shape of each spoke.
Black on black:
A few different angles here (sorry its a white Targa) but these pics show them on a non 50th so there is hope!

I think the only two tone wheel I've ever really liked are the original Fuchs.
The regular Carrera Sport Classic have an old school monoblock look to them, which is something I do like. I think they are an acquired taste - I didn't really get them until this thread, actually. I don't think any of these wheels seem to photograph that well.
