Big problems with putting mine away. Every mile is a treat, parking it sucks.

Nothing major at all. To be honest, there are a few little things like bt connection sometimes decides to take a break and for once only, my AC wasn't working for about 1/2 hour, problem solved after restarting the car. That's all.
Oh, not sure if you'd consider this major, but I live in a community where most of the residents are seniors, they did mention my car being a bit loud to their standard lol

Porsche has climbed from 5th place to tying Lexus for 1st place in the http://www.jdpower.com/press-release...dability-study if you put stock in that sort of thing. I suspect those results are more heavily weighted towards Cayennes and Macans given they are the bulk of Porsche's sales volume.
Naturally, there are plenty of stories about random arbitrary failures throughout these forums, nearly all of which result in Porsche taking care of the issue - even Nick Murray's lemon. We all tend to heavily weight negative events over positive ones, so I don't get too concerned about the unavoidable anomalies.
The Porsche normal maintenance costs appear to be pretty high (a few hundred bucks in the first year, up to a couple thousand in the 2nd, and so on) but Porsche only requires maintenance once per year/10k miles in order to satisfy their warranty requirements.
During warranty, I plan to maintain/repair the cars exclusively through the dealership. Out-of-warranty it might make more sense to establish a relationship with a local shop that specializes in these types of cars (I haven't reached that point yet).
For what it's worth, I have had zero issues with both Porsche vehicles (911 and Macan) but I've had them less than 6 months.
Are you concerned about the cost of maintenance? The hassle/frequency of dealing with issues? Getting a base Cayenne loaner instead of a 911?
