Just got my 2016 C4S detailed and ceramic coated

Looks great - updates along the way would be much appreciated. I've long considered a ceramic coating for my DD but never pulled the trigger since I assumed that even the best coating wouldn't stop rock chips, etc.
I figured it was either wrap or nothing. It would be nice to see some real-time reports on how these coatings stand up to regular use/abuse.

I have Ceramic Pro on my 911 and it has held up well over the last 15 months. Car remains glossy, water beads well and when it dries in the garage leaves no water marks. Coatings will not stop rock chips period. I had PPF on my Z06 and was not a fan. Over the last 2 weeks I have done my wife's A6 and my Jeep Grand Cherokee with Cquartz Tio2 myself. I am going to keep a eye on it and see how it holds up. Hopefully it works well as I look forward to doing my C4S when it comes in. I got tired of paying high dollar for something I can do myself. Paint correction / polishing is not difficult just a bit time consuming.
