We're blowing out our sets of 20" 991 Sport Design wheels for the end of the year. We have a few sets available for immediate shipping. Wheels are brand new, never installed. They came to us from Porsche with expired tires, so we removed the old tires and now have these gorgeous wheels. In new condition, never seen the road or mounted on a car.
Great price for brand new Porsche OEM wheels. Can't tell you how many used sets I've seen on ebay with high asking/sale prices than this brand new set from a Porsche dealer.
My last choice when I was shopping but they've grown to really be one of my top 3.
I had them on my first 991S and they would not have been my first choice. I thought they were just okay at first but they really grew on me over time. I bought a winter wheel set (Carrera S 20" wheels - from Suncoast) in case I wanted to swap them to use as my summer wheels but never did (they remain my winter wheel set). I had lots of complements on my Sport Design wheels at PCA events from other folks over the time I had them (two years). Sharp looking wheels.
I've come to the conclusion that Porsche doesn't really make wheels I don't like. It's like trying to pick your favorite supermodel. I may prefer one slightly over another but they are all gorgeous!
I jumped in on that deal a couple months ago and put Sottozero's on them. I wasn't sure about them at first but they've grown on me and would be second choice to the Sport Techno's which are my other set.
Ever since that style debuted in 19" on the 997 Turbo I've not liked them at all. Funny how many people in this thread started out not liking them and now find them okay or nice. I've not wavered.
